| #1 Posted on 17.4.13 1247.56 Reposted on: 17.4.20 1248.55 | TV Line says Microsoft is in preliminary discussions about bringing back NBC show Heroes as programming for the XBox, as part of creating exclusive content for their system.
That part makes sense for Microsoft's strategy. But Heroes specifically? I never watched Heroes, but my impression from you all who did watch is Heroes had a really strong first season and then flailed wildly and mostly unsuccessfully for three more seasons. It had some good moments in the later episodes, but it was overall unable to recreate the magic of the first ones and there wasn't the big outcry to keep the show alive normally seen for canceled SciFi shows.
Am I way off here? Do people want more Heroes? That article reads like a purposeful leak to encourage fan interest, but I don't know it actually exists for this show.

I was out in Season 3 and even after it hit Netflix streaming and thought "I should finish it for completion sake" I still never went back and watched it. Even my most apologetic "Heroes" friend wouldn't be interested in the series returning. | samoflange

I grew to hate Heroes as much as anybody, but I enjoy the superpowers trope enough to give it a shot as long as the same old idiots aren't the ones in charge.
This is assuming I could figure out how to give it a shot without having an XBox. | lotjx

| #5 Posted on 17.4.13 2222.30 Reposted on: 17.4.20 2226.49 | Heroes deserved the fifth season it was denied. The show's momentum was utterly destroyed by the writers' strike - no other show was more damaged - and they were just on the cusp of potentially getting it back with the storyline they were proposing for the fifth season when the rug was pulled out from underneath it. Beyond that... well, I'd love to see what they do with what they should've had first.
Don't have an Xbox though. Have no plans on getting one. So if this is true and Microsoft finds a way to pull the trigger on it, they better have alternative distribution plans on tap. | Peter The Hegemon

Besides...it IS back, and I actually am watching it, in the form of Touch. I mean, it's not the SAME show, of course, but if you liked Heroes, most of what you liked about it is there in Touch.
