Is *that* what the opener was? I'm completely avoiding ever watching that (following Paul Anka & Lisa's advice - "Just don't look!") and my fiancee & I were confused by that opening entirely.
The episode itself was amusing enough and by-the-numbers and of course ignores past continuity and gives us another New Tale about Abe's past in the *same* season. I hope Glamorous Godfrey is one day inducted into the WWE Hall Of Fame.
The joke I actually laughed at the most was Lenny & Carl saying they go to every event in Springfield.
Oh and Burns' ode to villainy, with its shout-outs to Skeletor and Megatron, was pretty good.
