| #1 Posted on 16.2.13 1536.53 Reposted on: 16.2.20 1537.28 | I'm impressed how well Young Justice got themselves out of that situation with Miss Martian trapped in the Manta Ship for weeks. Aqualad is secretly all healed up but he, M'Gann, and Artemis were drawing blanks about how to get Miss Martian out of there before Deathstroke blows her head off. Enter the daddy-daughter duo of Sportsmaster (out to protect his rep) and Jade (out to avenge the sister she thinks is dead). Amidst a lot of chaos, fighting, and turnabouts, everything worked out super duper keen for the good guys. Artemis was able to deactivate Miss Martian's inhibitor collar, bringing her back to full power and allowing her to Martian mind meld everyone related to Artemis re: it's all a ruse.
We got to see Sportsmaster vs. Black Manta, two daddies. Manta really does love his Aquason in a surprisingly heartwarming way. Sportsmaster, not so fatherly or affectionate. Then we got to see Deathstroke vs. Sportsmaster, the former and current Double A Enforcers of The Light. I gotta say, I hate the big white ponytail on Deathstroke. Why would the world's greatest one-eyed assassin give himself a physical liability like a giant ponytail and enemy can grab or could get caught in things? Makes no sense. Bad design.
In the end, Aqualad and Artemis' covers are preserved. Miss Martian got away. The Sportsmaster family is content that Artemis is alive. Couldn't have gone better, really.
Meanwhile, Warworld is still in orbit above Earth and in the possession of the Justice League. The Team members who defeated Mongul and Mongul himself were all Boom Tubed away and the traitorous Green and Blue Beetle have their cover story to the team. But enter Nightwing, the World's Second Greatest Detective, and currently World's Greatest with Batman off-world.
Nightwing's detective work on the Warworld hangar bay pokes all kinds of holes in Blue Beetle's story, including the physical evidence of Robin's "birdarang". I liked furious Nightwing snapping the birdarang in half while watching that lying asshole Benedict Arnold Blue Beetle giving a victory speech on TV with the Ambassador of The Reach. That two-faced dick. Promote this thread! | | Millerek

Nightwing was just awesome and it was nice to M'Gann get off her ass and use her full abilities. Things are finally moving towards an end. Hopefully, its a good one. | Millerek

I'm also waiting to see how Cheshire telling her mom about Artemis bites them later; unless of course it's just forgotten. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
