G Rajon Rondo, Boston Celtics G Dwayne Wade, Miami Heat F Carmelo Anthony, New York Knicks F LeBron James, Miami Heat F Kevin Garnett, Boston Celtics
Garnett beat the 4th-place frontcourt player, Miami's Chris Bosh, by only about 25,000 votes, but as you might expect, the backcourt race wasn't even close-- Rondo had more than twice the votes of third-place vote getter Deron Williams of the Brooklyn Nets.
The 62nd NBA All-Star Game will be played at the Toyota Center in Houston on Sunday, Feb. 17, 2013 (8 p.m. ET), televised exclusively on TNT and broadcast exclusively on ESPN Radio in the U.S. The All-Star Game will reach fans in more than 200 countries and territories in more than 40 languages.

(But that would be fun to watch. The fighting, I mean. Not the kissing.) | pieman

| #6 Posted on 31.1.13 1323.43 Reposted on: 31.1.20 1326.22 | With Rajan Rondo suffering a season-ending ACL tear, Brooklyn Nets center Brook Lopez has been added to the Eastern Conference All-Star team by commissioner David Stern, who selects all injury replacements for the All-Star Game.
This is Lopez's first All-Star selection and he's the Nets' only All-Star (so far) this year, and thus obviously the first All-Star for the team since they moved to Brooklyn.
Rondo's replacement in the starting lineup has yet to be announced, but is expected to be Cleveland's Kyrie Irving. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
