I know that Sons has had some pretty messed up scenes this year (Tig's daughter being burned alive in front of him, Opie getting his head smashed in with the pipe, etc.) but seeing Jax's son impaled on a tree branch was a whole new level of fucked-up.
Joel McHale's character was a little underwhelming. It seemed like he was doing the same old smarmy asshole routine that he perfected on The Soup and Community - just with more gunshots and face beatings. I guess if it ain't broke, don't fix it.
In a twist that pretty much everyone saw coming, Clay is behind the home invasions. While I am still kind of pissed that they kept him around simply for the sake of ratings, I must admit that Clay is a great source of drama this year.
Unfortunately, the same can't be said for Katy Segal as Gemma. She's just getting tossed from one shitty plot point to another. It's time for the writers to grow a pair and kill that bitch. The only good to come from the shrewish harpy is the always welcome addition of Jimmy Smits (who is five different kinds of bad ass in this role). He's finally washing away the bad taste of his guest stint as a baddie on Dexter a few years ago. Promote this thread! | | JimBob Skeeter

We have been with Abel since day one, so if they do kill him, it will be the end of the show for me. Yet, The Oracle did say Abel will save her children, so he might live.
Gemma and Clay are untouchable til season seven. Kurt had to pull some many tricks to keep Clay alive last season, I expect the same for Gemma. It is allowing for some rather annoying story jumps. I do think the amount of danger this season is coming close to almost comical. Still, its emotional and heart pounding which makes the show amazing. | RecklessEric

This season had a lot going on and if they kill this kid...it's just too much to follow and pile on top of all the dramatic layers the show has already.
