Breaking news! The Gov. Gary Johnson/Judge Jim Gray Campaign has filed an antitrust lawsuit against the Democrats, Republicans, & the Commission on Presidential Debates for antitrust and anticompetitive acts. The voters deserve competition!
I doubt this will get anywhere, but God bless 'em for at least trying. I would LOVE for people to understand there are more than two choices in this race and allowing Gov. I loooove debates involving people that actually don't have a chance to get elected by the people watching; they don't give a shit, and are free to speak freely. Canadian federal debates are always good for this, as the Bloc de Quebecois leader is always loose and fun. | Mr. Boffo

I agree that nothing will come of this (except maybe attention to the Johnson/Gray ticket, which might have been the goal anyway), but it does make me wonder: if they were forced to open up the debates, who should be included? I'm inclined to say anyone who is on the ballot in enough states to theoretically win the electoral college. According to thegreenpapers.com, that would be Obama, Romney, Johnson, Jill Stein of the Green Party, and Virgil Goode of the Constitution Party. As it happens, that ends up being a nice blend of ideologies as well. That seems a fair diving line between them and crazy candidates like Roseanne Barr and Jeff Boss of the "NSA Did 911" Party and Santa Claus. | CRZ

Given that they filed in Newport Beach and Gray is a former California Superior Court judge, I will take that to mean he'll probably know what he's doing in that courtroom. Scanning through it, they're arguing on behalf of all candidates with enough ballot access to hit 270.
Other than this Buzzfeed story, I'm still not seeing it on Google News...must be the Friday afternoon timing. ;-) | wannaberockstar

I think, often times, the person that knows they can't win is allowed to speak the most freely, because, otherwise, shows with titles, such as CROSSFIRE [...] Will jump on it.
