http://www.deadline.com/2012/05/its-official-cbs-cancels-csi-miami/ and also http://www.deadline.com/2012/05/cbs-cancels-freshmen-unforgettable-and-a-gifted-man/

I had a feeling CSI Miami was going to be the one getting the axe, while CSI NY would get renewed for season #9.  Goodbye Horatio, you've spoken your last sentance while walking away from a person and putting on your shades.  Never watched Unforgettable or A Gifted Man.  NYC22 doesn't surprise me given that they put it in the death time slot of 10:00 PM on a Sunday.

God, the cancellation of CSI: Miami came 11 years too late.

I liked CSI Miami. Sure Caruso overacted 99% of the time, but it was the cheesyness of it that made the show so great. Actually in the beginning he wasn't as bad as he was this last season.

I like when new shows that look interesting get cancelled before I get around to watching the first episodes. Saves me some time and getting invested in characters.

Now I'll NEVER know whether Adam Goldberg's character in "NYC 22" was the same cop as the one in "The Unusuals!"

Sad to see CSI:Miami cancelled, but I wouldn't be surprised if it finds its way to Netflix.
