NEW HAVEN, Conn. -- A federal judge has dismissed a lawsuit by the widow of a World Wrestling Entertainment performer against the company's former chief executive Linda McMahon, who's running for the U.S. Senate.
Martha Hart sued WWE and McMahon in 2010 during her first run for the Senate, which the Republican lost to Democrat Richard Blumenthal. Hart said the company used the image of her late husband, Owen Hart, in videos and other materials without her permission and despite her objections.

Owen was on the Hart family DVD, I think. The HOF thing has the potential to create bad PR for them, unless he was part of the larger family going in Von Erichs-style maybe, because the horrible circumstances of his death overshadow his career. And his aggrieved widow would be very outspoken about not wanting it, which would not come off well. | Moss

Then Bret would be in twice and you could get the also sad ending Flyin' Brian, British Bulldog (without the BulldogS since I doubt Dynamite would ever accept an entry) and get the Foundation tag team in plus Owen. | DJ FrostyFreeze

I'm not buying this either. I vaguely remember reading something about the Bulldogs having legit heat with the Rougeaus way back when, but Jacques and Raymond haven't been in a WWE ring since God was a boy. Dynamite's in a wheelchair, so he may have some mobility issues, but I think he'd show if asked. | JustinShapiro

I don't doubt that someone in Titan thinks having a former star roll onto a platform is bad PR. | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
