If he looks at Owens and Ochocinco and sees what a truly marginalized receiver looks like, he should be inspired to work and work hard. The diva receivers have fallen on hard-ish times. I'm sure he wants to be more than a decoy for offenses looking to the tight ends, and a good attitude will help the passes come his way a few times a game. | Sec19Row53

Yes.

No. But that's because he wouldn't start for the Eagles and I don't see him being happy if he's used as a situational guy. If they trade Desean he might be worth a look though.

Damn that was quick. It'll be interesting to see how he works with Alex Smith.
As for Jackson v. Moss, as an Eagles fan, I'll take the young headcase over the old head case, if only because you can always hope for change. | dMr

Yeah, not sure that's going to be a good fit. You'd think Randy would behave himself for a year regardless because he's drinking in the last chance saloon, but if Alex doesn't start the season strong there could be problems.

I was thinking more if it was Jackson v Moss + whatever-the-Eagles-got-in-exchange-for-Desean I might've been OK with it.
I love Desean (most of the time) but he drops more than his fair share and for all his big plays he couldn't be more of a non-factor once you get inside the 20. | DrewDewce

| #7 Posted on 13.3.12 1448.05 Reposted on: 13.3.19 1459.02 | The Steve Czaban show had some funny takes on this where they likened Moss to "Receiver Yogurt" (has a quick expiration date) and they wondered when he would be lobbying for the guy who threw to him on his visit (coach Jim Harbaugh*) to replace the guy who will be trying to throw him the ball (Alex Smith).
* Harbaugh had to do it since Smith couldn't participate due to either his contract status or the CBA, or both. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
