I honestly don't think so...transgender is the "new kid on the block" in regards to sexual preference issues and arguably the most "shocking". I think the general public's acceptance of gay/lesbian celebrities (reality stars) is pretty high.
Now if they had chosen to have her dance with a woman, you'd probably have the same crowd getting up in arms. | hansen9j

Reposted on: 1.3.19 0000.34 | I'm just gobsmacked at Donald Driver being on this. I mean, *I* love him to death, but I'm not convinced he's at all a household name, except by fantasy football players from 2002 to 2009. Even from a Packers standpoint:
a) it's a year late for that*
b) he's a strange Packer to choose. Why not Rodgers for starpower, Jennings for charm and charisma, or even Raji for the fat man factor?
Worst of all, now I have to actually watch the show. Would it be too much to actually wear my Driver jersey during the broadcast?

I hate to break this news to you, but Carson from Queer Eye for the Straight Guy wasn't on that show as the straight guy.
