Los Angeles Clippers' Chauncey Billups out for season with torn ACL
Los Angeles Clippers guard Chauncey Billups suffered a torn left Achilles tendon Monday night and will miss the remainder of the season, the team announced Tuesday.
"I feel sick for him," coach Vinny Del Negro wrote in a text to ESPNLosAngeles.com's Ramona Shelburne.
Billups suffered the injury with 5:59 left in the fourth quarter of the Clippers' 107-102 overtime victory over the Orlando Magic on Monday. An MRI on the tendon Tuesday in Cleveland revealed the severity of the injury.
It's a punch in the gut to be sure, but Mo Williams has been very solid in his role this season and he'll pick right up where Billups left off. Now if Chris Paul suffered this kind of major injury, THEN it's time to hit the panic button! Promote this thread! | | El Nastio

1) See they have two of the best dunkers in the league, so they acquire Chris Paul to facilitate Lob City.
2) Knowing the Clippers Curse, they stock up on PG's fully expecting one of them to get hurt.

Don't see how that is possible because the Lakers sell out every game also...
But still, to see the resurgence of the Clippers, a good thing for the league. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
