How'd your team do?

Two back-to-back-to-backs (Jan 08/09/10 and Feb 28/29/Mar 01), which is one less than Kevin Love and I expected.

Three home back-to-backs (Jan 01/02, Feb 10/11, Mar 09/10).

Two weeks with four home games (Jan 01/02/04/06 and Mar 05/07/09/10) which will surely kill me. Being a season ticket holder is going to be WORK this season, even with eight less home games to go to.

We won't get to see NJ, Toronto, Milwaukee, Orlando, Atlanta or Washington at Target Center. I can live with most of that. (And we DO get the Bucks for our preseason home game 12/17)

WE ACTUALLY HAVE TWO NATIONAL GAMES OH MY GOD (@ Clips, 01/20 ESPN and vs. Suns 04/09 ESPN2, along with four NBA TV games...only one at the Target Center)

That's all I have off the top of my head. Anything interesting from your angle?

For grins, here are the FIVE Christmas games to open the season (not yet on, but released on ESPN's website (

Lakers starting with an immediate back-to-back-to-back is brutal. And those Sacramento and Utah games aren't exactly walkthrough games. That roster, as currently constituted, is going to have it rough. Of course, if they dump Bynum for Dwight Howard, this all becomes moot.

Surely, THIS is the year the Clippers finally make the playoffs, right?

They've been doing everything right for the past couple years, but it's hard not to think that it's only a matter of time before they screw it all up again.

Also, the Clippers Blake Griffins are getting 10 nationally televised games this year. TEN!!

The players officially approved the CBA, the owners are expected to it on Friday. There's a lot to do in about two weeks. That plus teams playing three nights in a row there's going to be some ugly basketball. Plus how many players who signed to play overseas will be allowed to return?
