One of my favorite shows of the era. I can only hope they don't totally botch this up. I'd like to see it get a successful full season run.

Well, at the very least it could possibly push SNL to come out of their 10 year long suck period if it takes off and gains viewers.

A part of me also would love to see a Jim Carrey cameo on one of the specials, too.

I'm very torn on this. I'm happy that everyone's seemingly coming back, but...well...they're all 20 years older. Beyond the nostalgia appeal, I can't see this going over that well.

Looking back at the series, it's hard to deny how many careers that show launched. It made stars out of all of the Wayans, Jim Carrey, Jamie Foxx, Tommy Davidson, and even Jennifer Lopez.

It SHOULD have made a star out of David Alan Grier, but he just never caught on for some reason. I always thought he was a funny guy, but what do I know?

Grier was hilarious. Maya Angelou doing Butterfinger ads was genius.

However, In Living Color was really such a product of the 90's. Try watching it now. It doesn't hold up well.

in a wave of nostalgia I once bought the first two seasons on dvd. They were okay to watch. But the next one was just horrible. Worse than SNL ever did, it felt they just got stuck in doing the same things. Even Homey the Clown was not that funny. Just catchphrase upon catchphrase.

If its a vehicle to get new talent out there and funny, I am ok with it. Yet, I doubt they will get the level of talent they had back in the day.

Funny...about 3 weeks ago my wife and I saw ILC on and watched it with our kids. Outside of the Wanda Wayne and Homey the Clown sketches, it didn't feel like the show held up at all.
