(show kind of suffered from forcing in subplots for people just so everyone got their own subplot, but this was the best they used Donna all season.)

I really liked this one. Not only the best use of Donna in awhile, but also Tom. Then again they are almost always more effective when they team up.

Leslie: I've taught them too well. I've created a mob of little Leslie Knope monsters. I'm so proud, and a little annoyed, but mostly proud.

One problem I am having with the show is the Rob Lowe character. I really enjoyed him last year. This year he feels like he is in the way.

I was thinking this as well. He really seems directionless this season. I thought they were leaning towards some kind of reconciliation between him and Anne, but I guess not...

Remnants of shooting the Drew Peterson film. According to Michael Schur, it's back to normal by episode six or so.

The little girl whose int he forefront of wanting to be a Swanson, isn't she the same girl who wanted to write a school paper and Ron gave her the lowdown on how (he thinks) government (doesn't) work?

Some of the subplots seemed packed in, but that didn't stop me from laughing and enjoying the show.

The best parts are almost always when Tom goads Ben into talking nerd stuff. The Game of Thrones rant was hilarious, and Tom was doing some of that stuff earlier in the season when Ben was doing the books for Entertainment 7 Twenty. Love it.

This episode had some good concepts and situations, but I was expecting a little more Ron Swanson. The canvas flap and cardboard box was great, as was "Treat Yo' Self".

I agree on the Rob Lowe interference. It now seems like his character's sole trait is being extremely OCD. Something of a change from last season, where he was enjoyable as the uber-positive guy.

Same applies to Ben, somewhat, as he's now the stereotypical "nerd". I loved his quip about the sandwich punch-card, but didn't care for the Batman costume (or the Star Trek tangent from last week). At least they're still acknowledging his broken relationship with Leslie and seem to be sub-plotting that along.
