One last one - Nate Robinson and another player Marcus Landry will join the Celtics for Eddie House, J.R. Giddens and Bill Walker. This seems like a baffling move for the Knicks to me - I love Eddie House but all he does it throw up 3s and I think they were better off with Nate. Not that "better off" was going to help them get anywhere, either, though, so who knows. Maybe with the other moves they've made this makes sense somehow. Again I defer to any Knicks experts who come by here, but this looks like a better deal for the Celtics.

To shed some light on this, House played for D'Antoni in Phoenix and he loved him, and from what I have read, Nate Robinson drives him nuts with bad shots. Of course, House is 4 years older now, but I think it was more about getting rid of Nate.

I like Nate. He seems like a really good guy, he's fun to watch, looks like a great teammate, is pound for pound the toughest guy in the NBA but he can be a total bonehead at times and that's what kind of kills some of his appeal.

Nate and KG on the same team is a lot of intensity. I'm not sure it does much for the Celts other than make them more interesting to watch.

It's False

D'Antoni's reaction to this still kills me.

When he got hot, Eddie House could go Microwave'esque. Unfortunately, that has happened less and less this season. So, if he isn't going to be reliable from the 3 and he can't play the point or defense, maybe Robinson can help them slashing as he can't play the point or defense.

I believe the Knicks save a little money on this deal. And they weren't keeping Nate and won't keep Eddie so it's a big whatever.

I also believe that the Knicks saved some cash in this deal and are continuously clearing up space in hopes of a couple big names.

I may get some hate for this but I believe that like T-Mac, Nate Robinson is a great baller, not a great player and the Knicks in the past few years have been going for people with good talent, not good players who actually do more than post up points and help with the intangibles. If the Knicks are going to go after 2 people, I think they need a combination of a big man and someone at the guard as this organization desperately needs some balance.
