Heroes featured three of the worst yet hilarious Thanksgiving dinners ever televised.

At the Carnival, all the carny folk and Angry Hiro dined on what seemed to be rotisserie possum.

The Petrellis had a typical dysfunctional family dinner where Nathan turned into Sylar and crashed through the window. But at least the meal was catered. (Hey, is Nathan still a Senator or whatever he was?)

My favorite of the three was the Bennet family dinner, guest starring Kate from Angel (or whatever her name was in Law and Order), where Claire threw a complete hissy fit about not liking college and no one liking her, and then sliced her arm open at the dinner table.

That was topped by the return of Gretchen, Claire's most favorite rug muncher ever. They should have just gone all out and played the music from She's All That ("Kiss Me", you know what I mean) when Gretchen came through the door. Then they drive off together on an adventure to follow the compass. Teehee. Teeheeheehee.

I like how the Bennets made no mention of their son. Who? You know, their son. The kid who's actually their offspring and isn't superpowered or adopted. Nope, never heard of him.

Heroes is still so stupid but I'm thankful I'm perversely entertained.

To be fair, they actually did mention Lyle Bennet at the start of the episode, saying he couldn't get away from school. Now, while that's obviously a lie, I wouldn't want to show up at Mom and Dad's first Thanksgiving apart either, where Mom brings her new boyfriend over to Dad's shitty new apartment. Also, no one cares about Lyle; no one has ever cared about Lyle.

And how does Elizabeth Rohm keep getting work?
