If someone could connect Sarah Palin and Jon Gosselin it could be the biggest story in the history of the world. | redsoxnation

Did he think he could slip out of and back into the country with no one picking up on it? And, at least have a better excuse that can be plausible, because once the original excuse blows up, you are eventually doomed. As always, it is the cover-up that causes the most damage. | supersalvadoran

| #6 Posted on 24.6.09 2327.25 Reposted on: 24.6.16 2328.32 | The thing that gets to me about this is how much of a dick this guy was priorities-wise. Leaving a state ungoverned for several days is bad enough. Leaving your wife & kids without notice so that you could 'end' a affair is really messed up, especially during Father's Day. Those kids are going to have issues later on in life.
Oh, and I say end in quotes because if he really wanted it over, why go out of your way to abandon your family and travel several thousand miles to say goodbye? Why not just say it over the phone or go the Bischoff route and fedex a goodbye letter? I say he went there cause he knew this story would leak out and he was covering his tracks with his woman instead of just terminating the relationship. Either way, he looks like a total douche in this. | Zeruel

Some more new info about him and the woman. Apparently he has been seeing this woman on and off since 2001, both here and in South America. | lotjx

| #9 Posted on 1.7.09 1519.55 Reposted on: 1.7.16 1520.18 | He now has called his mistress his "Soul Mate" and just went back on his promise to release his personal finances to prove he only spent his own money for these travels.
Given what has happened to other public figures in his situation, I'm amazed too that he still has a job.
