Well, to be fair... Fuel, Feud. Where I'm from, they are pronounced the same way. (Fyoul, Fyoud. I dont Say Fyou-el and Fyoud.) I'm sure I get it wrong a lot.

I also can't spell weird correctly without spelling it wrong, remembering I spell it wrong, and then fixing it. I'm hard coded to type it incorrectly.

I'm tempted to go in and do a select statement on the board's DB to see how many posts I have made these errors in.

Hm.

Oddly enough, I've apparently only done it wrong twice on the board.

Once here: http://the-w.com/thread.php/id=704

And the other here: http://the-w.com/thread.php/id=654

I'm glad I stopped caring so much Man, those were the days, eh?

I am really tired of being spammed in my email about all the stuff from meds to the wonderful email about winning millions of someones money, but you have to run all these hoops. Oh and that house financing window that has the stupid dancing silhouette. I don't need to have someone dancing the Charleston to tell me to refinance my home!

"FIRST"

"BUMP"

"rediculous"

Pop-ups, ads that float across the screen.

Youtube videos that are not what the description says it's going to be. People who over-dub the video clip with something stupid and ruin it or they make their own movie trailer for a upcoming film and pass it off as the actual trailer.

People who leave nasty replies to messageboard postings when it really isn't warranted, calling the person stupid or an idiot.

People being stupidly lazy and not using the Internet to answer their own questions.

For example, on a different Lost message board I visit, somone posted about this week's episode: "I also loved that they used the Caravaggio Thomas painting. Much more visceral than any other. And Caravaggio was one of the coolest people ever."

The next post after was: "Who is that?"

Why post such a stupid question? You're already on the Internet, open up Google or Wikipedia and find out for yourself.

Top 10/Top 25/Top 50/Top 100, etc. lists of ANYTHING. Except when it's on Cracked.com, because at least then it's funny. I swear, the American Film Institute exists only to release Top 100 lists, or something. And SI.com does the same thing ad nauseam.

* 411Mania's comments section. The latest cringe-inducing running joke is about RVD re-signing or having a one-shot deal (regarding his appearance at the Royal Rumble).

* GameFAQS. Take, say, Super Mario Galaxy. Some moron kid asks the most inane of questions ("How do you spin?") and feels compelled to add SPOILERS in his thread title.

Any post on facebook that has "what happens next...." annoys the piss out of me.

People who think EVERYBODY who has even a centralist leaning is a Fox News Viewer. (It's amazing how much people who disagree with anything NOT progressive know about what is said on that channel)

People who don't realize that snark and irony went out of style (thankfully) in the early 2000s.

Seeing satire stories linked as if it's actual news.

Videos on facebook. Why must they play at FULL VOLUME? Why not a happy medium?

"...and #10 is HILARIOUS!"

No. No it isn't. It never is. Your click-bait has no power over me.

Stupid trolling Facebook things like--

"Should the National Anthem be played at sporting events?"

When it's not even up for debate, anywhere.

It brings out the paranoids -- "First they're taking away Christmas....now this".

The internet is not protected by the 1st amendment. There may be sites you can say whatever you want but they should probably be avoided.

Also about slideshows I hate it when a video on Youtube turns out to be a slideshow

Having to sit through a commercial before the video I want to watch begins to play.

That advertisement box that pops up on the bottom of youtube videos.

People on Facebook who constantly post something like "I'm so angry right now" and nothing else after that. They never say why they're angry and people like me have to then ask what's wrong. And then a lot of the time their answer is "Oh, it's no big deal."

People who post music lyrics on Facebook. Not everyone is going to know it's a song lyric and not think you're making an actual real post about something bad or tragic that has just happened in your life. Then they think you're an idiot for being immediately concerned and not knowing it was just a song lyric from a song you've never heard of before that was sung by a singer that you have never heard of before.

People who still type "FIRST" on messageboards and use WELP and MOAR as post replies.

Another annoyance: Pictures with the words "Share if you agree" and whatever else. Thanks, but no thanks.

The biggest annoyance in the world to me: Being unable to view something due to geographical location.

Adblockers on Firefox blocks all those advertisements. Definitely worth looking into.

And similar adds that are posted at the bottom of quite a few webpages trying to look like news stories.

My wife's been captured by a few of those from time to time. Good news is: they generally don't work: stuff like Garcinia Cambogia and Hydroxycut have found their way into our homes (albeit temporarily) because of ads like that and because Dr. Oz recommends them.

Did anybody mention the "You've been _____________ wrong" stories?
You've been brewing coffee wrong, you've been cutting watermelon wrong, you've been masturbating wrong. All that kind of BS irritates the crap out of me too. No, I haven't been frying eggs wrong. They're just the way I like them, no matter what some douchebag "expert" thinks.
