Earlier today, two-time All-Star shooting guard Allan Houston signed with his old team, the New York Knicks, at the age of 37, and will attempt to make one more go at revitalizing his NBA career.

He played in one exhibition game with the team last year before calling it quits, but he hasn't played in a regular-season NBA game since 2005.

Houston is fourth on the Knicks' all-time scoring list behind only Hall-of-Famers Patrick Ewing, Walt Frazier and Willis Reed. Instead of wearing #20, he'll wear #14 this time around to honor his father, who wore that number at the University of Louisville.

Anyone think his knees are up to it?

Maybe they can convince Oakley and Mason to join him.

Please?

I have no doubt Oakley could still go out there and bang the big boys around, if nothing else it would give an intimidator the Knicks don't have in Curry or Randolph.

I guess he'd be decent in D'Antonis' system as a spot-up 3 point shooter....if they had a PG. And there were no requirements for him to play D.

Houston was cut before the end of the preseason, without appearing in a single game.
