As for the tattoo, I agree with SPF when he said it seems like the sort of thing you'd regret later in life, although that could be said for most tattoos.
Additionally, I don't find it offensive, but I also don't get offended easily. At all.

I wanted a tattoo, but kept holding back due to fear of saying "WTF was I thinking when I got this" about it. So I got a tattoo that I know I won't want to make any others easier to get. Sort of an excersize in overcoming fear.
That and sarcasm, while stinging at first, and always there, is only skin deep.
I've thought about getting the Kanji for "shoulder" on my shoulder. That comes from watching too much Marx Brothers and Abbot and Costello.
