Reposted on: 13.2.13 0555.32 | Recently, I saw a city ordinance sign that said "DO NOT SPIT ON SIDEWALK" (it wasn't a real ordinance here...this particular sign was a novelty in a restaurant). It occurred to me that it's becoming rare to see people spit in public anymore. So do you? Are you grossed out when you see others do it?
I do, but tend to spit when others aren't around...say in a parking lot by my car, for example.

No way. I think spitting is unacceptable. Unless you have a phlegm inducing cold you shouldn't be spitting at all (I’d rather not see your phlegm but it is far worse for me to think of you swallowing it...sorry for painting that picture).
