Futures for unleaded gas for September goes up over .41 cents today, an increase of around 20%, so another .50 to .60 cent increase is just around the corner. October doesn't look much better, but maybe December won't be awful. Went from 2.61 to 2.86 for the cheap stuff today, with the first sighting of over 3.00 per gallon. | Mr. Boffo

| #47 Posted on 30.8.05 1854.40 Reposted on: 30.8.12 1854.50 | The wholesale cost of gasoline in northeast Wisconsin will be 34 cents higher on the 31st than it was on the 29th.
We ran out of gas yesterday, got 8000 gallons overnight, and we would have ran out again today (we had kept our prices at $2.699. There are some in town as high as $3.099 already). We'll be at $2.999 tomorrow.
Plus the terminals are reported to be on strict quotas. We might not be able to get another load of gasoline before Friday, which means we'll be out all week.
People need to calm down though. Remember, it's not your local gas station's fault that the price is so high. Don't take it out on them.
