(Dumb, I know, since we're paying for gas AND finance charges.) The cheapest Chevron in Glendale had regular for $2.71. The expensive one, just off the freeway, had regular priced at $2.85, with premium going for $3.05. Even the "cheap" stations, like Arco, are hovering around the $2.70 mark. That was 3 days ago, though. I should go out and check again today.
And I just bought a new car with a bigger tank, but at least it gets better mileage.
From what I saw yesterday/today, the cheapest at Arco is about $2.75 off the freeway and $2.73 near school. Shell is actually cheaper than Arco right now by a few cents. I've been told Shell's gas burns faster though. I don't know the validity behind that claim, since i've yet to actually look up any tests that proved it. | Jaguar

Yeah, I saw the paper, and then when I saw 98.9 cents/litre (minus the 3.5 cent discount) on my way to work, I figured I'd better fill while the filling is good. | Redcumo

One "fun" thing is that at my local mini-mart, milk is ALSO $2.69 a gallon - so it's nine-tenths cheaper to get a gallon of milk than a gallon of gas.
