| #3 Posted on 10.5.05 1402.08 Reposted on: 10.5.12 1402.22 | Originally posted by Shaq Los Angeles, the town, he says, was "real, real fake. This (Miami) is a more real place." He refers to Lakers owner Jerry Buss as "that old man," calls team management "cowards" and can hardly bear to mention Bryant's name. Instead, he calls him "whatchamacallit" or "that dude" or "the other guy" and says he was "arrogant."

| #4 Posted on 10.5.05 1557.34 Reposted on: 10.5.12 1557.40 | Shaq has done a pretty good job of taking the high-road through all this crap until recently. I still dont think Buss said anything too off-base or offensive (in regards to Shaq's weight a couple weeks ago), but he apparently took those comments pretty harshly & had a lot of nasty things to say about Buss in response. Now he goes & trashes the whole city by calling L.A. "fake"? Sure there's a lot of fakery going on here, but I'm sure there's plenty in Miami as well.
I'm just a little disappointed is all. | Kawshen

This is too funny. Of course, as someone on Shaq's side, I got a real big kick out of it. | pieman

You know, I like Shaq and all, but he really needs to get over this.
