I'm surprised no one posted about this:

The Indiana Pacers first return to The Palace of Auburn Hills after November's brawl which spread into the stands has been delayed after a threat was made against the Pacers, the Pistons told ESPN.

Shortly before the scheduled 8:10 p.m. start, Palace officials told the fans that the game would be delayed "due to unforeseen circumstances." The arena was already nearly full, and fans were not evacuated. The crowd cheered when the big overhead TV screens were tuned into the Michigan State-Duke NCAA Tournament game at about 8:30 p.m.

A half-hour later, a Pistons official confirmed that the game at the Palace will be played.

Pistons lost by 13, BTW.

It was kind of surprising, but not that much. Everyone expected at least something to happen. I just hate how everyone (Reggie Miller) was blasting the Detroit security and everything. How the hell else are they supposed to deal with bomb threats? Oh well.

The real bomb lately has been the Pistons team. It's very hard to be a fan right now, but they'll pull it back around. Still lots of time to make a couple statements before the playoffs start.

How is it hard to be a fan right now? They've been streaky, given. But come on, if you can't handle the up and the downs, you're not much of a fan. They'll be fine come the playoffs. Their bad streaks have come without Larry, an injured Rip and an injured Ben.

Well, the whole Palace brawl was a screwed-up situation to begin with. So I don't think you can really blame Reggie Miller for his misplaced anger towards Palace officials, seeing as how it's a stressful situation when somebody threatens to blow you up.

Believe me, I'm one of the biggest Pistons fans out there. I've been with them through the crap years and I'll be here when the crap years come again (many, many years from now!) But when they dropped 4 of 5 and got their asses handed to them in each loss it was very discouraging. I don't see Carlos Delfino performing as he should yet but maybe by the playoffs he'll get a little more brave. Now that everyone's back I'll be able to watch the games again without as much worrying.

I can see that. But it's not like Detroit and the league aren't doing everything they can to make things as safe as possible.
