The Milwaukee Bucks have enhanced their chances of re-signing Michael Redd by finding a taker for the contract of Keith Van Horn.
League sources tell ESPN.com that the Bucks beat the 3 p.m. ET Thursday trading deadline by agreeing to send Van Horn to Dallas for Calvin Booth, the expiring contract of Alan Henderson and minimal cash considerations. ===========================

| #2 Posted on 25.2.05 0251.12 Reposted on: 25.2.12 0251.25 | Normally I wouldn't advocate getting Van Horn as a good move... but Cuban has had relative success with shelling out big bucks, and Van Horn helps bring quality depth behind Dirk at the PF. The biggest problem that I see with the trade is that it pretty much kills the Mavs' frontcourt defensively, as KVH is hurting with a bum ankle, and he isn't exactly known for his defense either way. Right now... they have, what, Bradley and Van Horn behind the double D's in the frontcourt? That's pretty pathetic, although I wouldn't be surprised if the Bucks released Henderson and he went back to the Mavs. | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
