Sounds a lot like those Heat-Knicks games I had to sit through some years ago.

The way I read it in my local paper is that Milton thought they had little chance to win, so they played for the last shot right from the beginning of the game. I guess if the goal is to win the game, the coach needs to decide the best way to accomplish that goal. Now that doesn't make an entertaining basketball contest, but they probably would have been crushed had they played it straight.

How stupid. What's at stake? Let the kids have some fun, let the parents and friends not be bored to death, get blown out, and maybe learn how to play a little better while you're at it. If this were a playoff game or something I could maybe see it, but at the level of Vermont High School Basketball, what's the point?
