(image removed) Oh boy! It's from LAND'S END! I wonder what they charged for IT. *I* got it for...$2, I think. Isn't that sad, I bought it on Saturday and I've already forgotten. Oh well.

100% SILK HANDMADE IN U.S.A. OF IMPORTED FABRIC OVER FOR CARE

(over)

DRYCLEAN (hmm, I think that's less characters than "OVER FOR CARE" so it would have fit on the front, but that's just me)
RN 62830 290

There's also ANOTHER tag that says
35488
B5
290

which is probably part of Land's End's way of communicating with its home planet.

This tie seems to be an artist's rendition of a snapshot taken in mid-air when Santa's magic sack finally bursts, inadvertently executing a gift bombing raid over Walla Walla, WA.

And no, I don't know where that came from, either.

It looks like something the principal would wear the day before Christmas break while he's standing outside the office waiting to paddle kids. Or something out of my 5-year-old dream sequences.

It's like a gift that keeps on giving ... right up there with a membership to the Jelly of the Month club.

Now there's an out of context quote for the festive season

This would be where I remind you that only logged in users have to suffer through that quote, which only serves to confuse by REALLY making it difficult to find the beginning of the actual TEXT of your post, &c. &c. &c., but you've never listened to me before...

Don't worry, drjayphd, you can still use it when the current one expires in 4 days or so. It's still the holiday season until after New Year's, sez I.

Hell, if I can't be Wiener of the Day, at LEAST let a brotha have the Out-of-Context Quote of the Week. Gotta have something to get me through Packer playoff season...

Huh? No one's ever said anything about THAT to me. I suppose I could fiddle with it a bit to make it obvious, but no one's ever had a problem with it.

The first couple of times, I thought the quote was your post.

As soon as I saw the horizontal bar, I assumed your sig was next and ignored the rest of the post.
