He's not as good as he once was, and he slows down the offense. And his teammates know once they give him the ball, their best chance of getting it back will be on a rebound. He never, ever passes the ball. And that shows a certain arrogance which is undeserved, considering he hasn't made a dent in the playoffs. Win a few playoff series and you deserve to be a little arrogant. Until then, you should shut up.
Trust me, the Hornets are better off without him. In fact, he ought to retire, because I can't think of a team that needs a ballhog like Mash. And hell... being a ballhog wouldn't be a bad thing if he could actually make some positive contributions. But he can't do that, either.
And for being a veteran, he certainly doesn't act like a leader.
