My pool picks are a bit naive but as of right now I'm 17-3 (and I think those 3 L's won't go anywhere). I'm watching a majority of the tournament from espn.com scoreboard, but I do hope to catch some games over the weekend. My final four (and go easy on me, see sentence #1) are Zags, St. Joe's, Conn, and Duke with Zags taking it all (and me kicking some ass in the pool, taking all the money, and making fun of the boys). ;-) | The Amazing Salami

They're starting to pull away now, but Cincinnati is really not making me happy . I wish I knew why I took Cincinnati when they're playing in Columbus - there's some major hate between Cinci and tOSU, isn't there?
I'm playing in 2 different groups - the Wiener league and a fam/friends/others group filled with a bunch of people who actually understand the point of RPIs. I've got 12 points in the Wiener league and 18 in the other league (18-3 through 4:30PM Eastern Friday). The Phoenix region is killing me in the Wiener league. I blame snow. This weekend's going to be crucial for both of my cards, though. I'm sittin' pretty if some of those upsets come through...

I lucked out on my spring break. Thursday was the last day of the quarter and we just had to take a final exam so i got out at 11 just in time for the first game at 11:20. Then we don't have school on Fridays and are off the next two weeks so I'm not going to miss any of the tournament.
CBS's coverage has been pretty good here, they've shown the end of whatever game was closest to ending for the most part. Although the only local team that has played is Alabama and that was a close game so it was alright for them to show that one. The only thing I don't like is a lot of times now they've switched games without going back to the studio or even saying they were switching so someone would literally be dribbling down the court with the score at 60 - 54 or something and then i'll look down for a sec and look up and the score will say 74 - 73 and wonder what in the world just happened. | Whitebacon

I think I took Providence in my pool, but I couldn't be happier about the UOP win. I've got a friend on the team that I've known since elementary school that's a backup on the team (Kemper). He got a lot of PT last year, but hasn't this year due to transfers and such. I'm still thrilled for the guy though, he got some face time during the closing seconds of the game. If they weren't playing my Jayhawks (most likely) in the next round, I'd pull for them to make a long, long run. | redsoxnation

Well, I know I took Providence in my pool (well, except in one that had the big money stakes. I'm loyal, but not that stupid), so despite being in second after 1 day in the wienerboard pool, I'm dead. And, yet again, Tim 'Please, for the love of God go to St. John's' Welsh still has NEVER won a big game in his career as a coach. I've seen lobotomized cadadvers make better decisions than Welsh in crunchtime. Let's put the center with bad hands at the top of the offense, that's been a failure for 4 years, so lets keep doing it. Please let Donovan get fired by the Gators so he can come home, or Bobby Gonzalez come back to where he used to recruit from. Anyone but that nitwit Welsh coaching us in the future.

Go Blazers! Best game so far in my opinion. A 102 - 100 score, and that wasn't with any overtimes or anything, pretty exciting basketball.
Which bracket is the East? East Rutherford? My best one so far has been Atlanta. It's the first bracket that i've ever picked the higher seed every matchup until the 1 vs 2, which I have Miss St. winning, and so far the higher seed has won every game.

...Possibly. I'll admit I was partially suckered by "The MAC always wins at least 1 game" line, but my bracket in general wasn't high on SEC teams (except for Kentucky).
As for my bracket - 24 our of 32, but I've only lost 2 Sweet 16 teams, which for me counts as a good thing. | Dutchie

I got fooled by that line, too. Combined with the fact that W. Michigan was a one-point favorite when I was filling out that region, it was hard to pass up on W. Michigan. Lesson learned. I lost on the Washington/UAB game too, but that was my favorite game of the tournament so far. I was hoping for OT just so it wouldn't end.
27 wins on the offline card, and 23 wins on the online card. I haven't lost any games where I had the team going past this weekend - yet.
And on the women's tourney side of things (where thankfully the bracket names are still regional, not city, based)... I can finally say Penn State is #1 and not have it be facetious! That won't last long though, they're in a killer bracket. | DrewDewce
