He's mighty handy most of the time, but his bad games stink to high heaven. Still I might have a decent team if I had a point gaurd. I think I've used about 8 so far and have Brevin Knight there at the moment. | squiz

Understand this all too well, my friend. My current PG: Moochie Norris. But then, my other 2 guards are Kobe and Vince, and they have done quite nicely, thank you.
Anyway, this is a prediction poll, so my predictions:
Mavs take the West after a nice 7 game series with the Kings in the West finals.
As much as I like Jason Kidd, or, as I call him, "Eternal Triple-Double Man" the Bucks will come out of the East, and promptly get trounced by the Mavs in 5.
The Clippers actually make the playoffs for the first time since, uh, when was it?
Boston ends up as the #4 seed in the East, and Detroit doesn't make it, despite the Bad Boys uniforms. Isiah is in Indiana now......

You know everyone says it's been so long since the Clippers have made the playoffs. To me when it comes to sports milestones, streaks, droughts, etc a long time is like 10 years atleast. But nowadays on all these sports shows something will come up and they're like "oh my goodness this is the first time that has happened in three months!"
That being said, I don't the Clippers drought from the playoff has been all that long. It's only been 5 years since they were swept by the Utah Jazz in 1997. As a matter of fact, the only four teams that have not made the playoffs in the past 5 years are the Grizzlies, the Celtics, the Warriors and the Denver Nuggets .
The Grizzlies of course have never made the playoffs.
Golden State Warriors last appearance was in 1994.
Celtics and Nuggets both last made it in 1995.
As I already said the Clippers last appearance was in 1997 which was also Washington's last playoff appearance.
In 1998 the Chicago Bulls, Cleveland Cavs and New Jersey Nets went to their last playoff. Which means if the Clippers make the playoffs, and the Bulls don't. Then the Bulls playoff drought will be as long as the Clippers was before this year.
Atlanta Hawks and Houston Rockets went to the playoffs in 1999.
The Sonics and Pistons last went to the playoffs in 2000.
And of course the Lakers, Kings, Mavericks, Spurs, Suns, TWolves, Blazers, Jazz, Raptors, 76ers, Magic, Knicks, Bucks, Heat, Pacers, and Hornets made the playoffs last year.
Celtics, Wizards should both make the playoffs, Clippers could to. But the Grizzlies, Warriors and Nuggets streaks continue.

In the East, yeah, the Nets probably have as good a chance as any. The Raptors? Ha.
Me, I'd like to see Marc Jackson acquired by the Pacers. WHOO! | | ALL ORIGINAL POSTS IN THIS THREAD ARE NOW AVAILABLE |
