| #1 Posted on 23.6.15 1029.08 Reposted on: 23.6.22 1029.08 | I assume the fact that a thread hasn't been started says enough about the show, but I've never started a Raw thread before so am taking my opportunity!
Thought it started promisingly with Lesnar coming out, but not a lot happened. Amusing to see him making friends with Cole though!
Don't think anything else really happened of note until the end when Lesnar was taken out. Don't see that very often! Although I have enjoyed J&J over the last few months I cannot buy them beating up Lesnar, nor can I with Kane after he has been beaten so often by so many lately. I can see that they had to do a Lesnar beatdown or something similar as there is still a lot of episodes to go before the PPV, but after Brock was throwing Seth around for fun it just didn't seem right, even with the numbers game in their favour.
Hope Jamie Noble is alright - he certainly landed hard and heard that he was injured, although not sure of the details of that one. Promote this thread! | | Chumpstain

Meanwhile, Roman Reigns continues putting on pretty good matches, with his brawl with Sheamus. They've been doing a pretty good job rehabilitating him, I think. Will it be enough to make people forget that they hated the idea of him winning the title at Wrestlemania? I guess that remains to be seen. | texasranger9

I didn't have a problem with the beat down of Brock other than the fact it means more Kane and more of the same, but it does even the odds a little I guess.
Barrett > Ryder at least.
The Rusev story isn't getting any better.
Dolph is talking about not reupping when his contract expires unless he gets a push, well how about a Main Event match against Adam Rose ... Message delivered?

Unconfirmed rumor started by some nobody on Twitter. Why would you go from medium-sized fish in massive pond to big fish in puddle evaporating in the sun? If he was to go anywhere that could afford to pay him close to what he is making now it would probably be NJPW anyway.
The rest I type here is stream of conciousness from a very tired wrestling nerd.
The Rollins apology and beatdown of Brock was stretched out way too long. Creepy stalker Bray creeping on Captain Pantene Pro-V and his daughter is fun so far like Taker kidnapping Stephanie fun, but what about Harper and Rowan? The Bellas are terrible. New Day Socks. Cena manages to suck in multiple languages (actually that was kind of unexpected and cool I just couldn't resist). Watching RAw after the gym and a nine hour shift was a bad idea. Brock's body language and expressions changing depending on the emotion that Heyman is describing that Brock feels is engrossing and entertaining.

We have two polar opposites personality wise dealing with the same issue in their own way.
Even if the setup was kind of weak, the two performers are doing a good job making a story out of it.

He apparently got hurt at a house show Saturday night.
---I just checked Rowan's Wiki page to see if they had an update on his injury and found out he's from Minneapolis and went to college 20 minutes from my hometown which is in the middle of nowhere western Minnesota! Saw that his real last is Ruud, and wondered if he was related to Rick Rude, but found out his last name was Rood. How many Rude's can there be in Minneapolis?

Wasn't there talk awhile back of Dolph wanting to get into stand-up comedy like Foley did?

It could be nothing, but sooner or later there will be fallout from having a super athletic roster and guys will get squeezed out. There will also be voids that need filled in all of those smaller ponds. Johnny Mundo is doing well for himself out there as is Del Rio. Jeff and Matt Hardy have made great livings for themselves with far less travel. Where can Dolph go on a roster that has Neville and someday Balor and Zayn? Chances are he has hit his WWE ceiling. He doesn't seem to move a lot of merchandise, PPV payouts aren't what they used to be, so how much more will he really be making?
Again it probably is much to do about nothing, but I wouldn't be shocked to see him doing crotch chops in a Bullet Club shirt alongside The Young Bucks and AJ Styles. I just thought it was funny that he got that main event match at this particular time.

I also DVR'd it because of a swim meet and watched it on Tuesday night in about 90-100 mins so that probably had a little to do with it. | #11 Posted on 23.6.15 2254.14 Reposted on: 23.6.22 2254.19 | Yeah the rumor about him quitting WWE and just doing stand-up stemmed from his last contract signing years ago and just ended up with him renewing and doing stints at the Ha-Ha Hut on his days off as a hobby. As much as I love Dolph and he has a steady stream of fans, Vince just seems out of ideas for him since he beat Rollins at Survivor Series where Sting made his debut and the Authority was supposed to die. I wouldn't mind seeing Rolf Diggler is Lucha Underground or Nick Nemeth in NJPW.
For fucks sake he killed the Authority with the help of a debuting Sting and it's like it never happened. This company man... | Hokienautic
