Wow, the ending to the World Cup made me completely forget that there was another entire match left. Only caught the last five minutes of that one. Not complaining, though.

I had it on in the background (I work from home), and it was a mess.

The tournament matches were abrupt, especially Rey and Orton. The announcers all missed the end of the Rollins/Lashley match, making it seem hasty too. Angle looked no better than when he teamed with the SHIELD. We got heel Miz vs. heel Dolph in the finals, and there's room to turn them BOTH this week, thanks to the Shane hijacking.

The Universal title match was one repeated move, and thanks to the AJ defense, both Samoa Joe and Braun look ultimately ineffectual when it matters.

The DX/Brothers match only showed that those guys have got to stay out of the ring. It was sloppy, and they looked feeble and clumsy.

Only the entrance of the tag title match made it note-worthy: New Day came to the ring standing on a giant "flying carpet."

The stage was HUGE, helping this seem like a Mania-level event, but the audio seemed to hamper the presentation. Or maybe the crowd really wasn't into it until the last match.

Hogan Hoganed Hoganly.

Just a mess.

You know, when Shane decided to replace the "injured" Miz in the final, I thought we were just getting a creative way of writing him out again. He'd lose, Ziggler would be "best in the world," and Steph would show up on Smackdown Tuesday to replay Shane's threat of "whoever's in the final and loses, you'll be off Smackdown," thereby making it so Shane essentially fires himself (and can disappear again).

No such luck.

Remember when DX were on the rampway and HHH held up the sign saying 'Who booked this crap?' with Shawn looking and nodding at the sign? Seems apt.

Got home to see the go ending of the main. When taker in kneeing hbk on the mat. I wondered why HHH looked so weird. Read later he tore his pec earlier. Damn he always finishes the match. Then I read about the whole Shane incident.

Something dawned on me during this. The last show Roman missed and angle replaced him what was the reason? I am willing to bet it was cancer related but Roman lied to hide it. He seems so dedicated to the point of insanity.

Ironically, I re-signed up with the WWE Network in anticipation of Crown Jewel, between the Styles/Bryan match and the return of HBK. The fact that Evolution was coming up was a nice bonus.

And I ended up liking Evolution much better than Crown Jewel.

Now that Bloody Money in the Bank is over. I hope their stock hits a new low on Monday. I know its been falling since their last quarter report where they admitted their live events and merchandise sales are down. The only thing that made them money was their Fox and USA deals which won't count anymore.

Honestly, if you have the network and continue to get the network after this shit then you are the problem.
