I thought it was alright; definitely better than Agents of SHIELD (although that's the very definition of damning with faint praise). One of my big issues with it is that they never explain why Carter's in NYC. I mean, shouldn't she really be involved with the British equivalent of the SSR? It seems like her own government is awfully unconcerned about her.

I really enjoyed this show, I wish it would be a full series but not sure if that will happen. I think the main reason I like this over Agents of SHIELD is it actually gives a reason as to why no heroes show up, because its after WW2 and none of them exist. Not sure how she went from bad ass solider to being know as Captain America's Lady friend, unless this takes place before the Agent carter short film.
I gave up on SHIELD a long time ago. My issue with SHIELD was that it takes place in a post Avengers world, Heroes are not only Active but more keep popping up, yet even with a roster of Shield agents that are heroes none of them help. No Mockingbird, no Agent 13, Jessica Drew , Falcon, none of them? I wasn't expecting a Marvel movie turned season but with a cast of over 8,000 people they don't use any of them?
(Now I might fully be wrong as I only made it up to Episode 8 as I refused to watch the Winter Soilder episode as I haven't seen the movie at the time.)
Back on topic, I feel this show is very well written, as I do look forward to the other episodes, and where all this is going.
