| #1 Posted on 1.6.18 0010.51 Reposted on: 1.6.25 0010.57 | The tournament starts at the Download Festival on June 8-10, culminating in UK specials on the WWE Network on June 18 and 19. The winner gets a shot at the UK Championship. The winner of this pool gets probably nothing (though if you want Canadian snacks in the mail, I'm always game).

Not at the moment, but I'm guessing they're setting up something for 205 Live with Gallagher. Also Drew Gulak is awesome and makes whoever he's working with look great, so always a good choice to slot into these things. | Quezzy

| #8 Posted on 8.6.18 2331.19 Reposted on: 8.6.25 2332.01 | Entries are closed! Since there were matches today and all. Meltzer says "the first round matches will be released on WWE's digital and social media platforms" so I'm going to add those results as the matches are released. Feel free to link to the videos in this thread.
Results from the televised matches will be added after the cards air (I'm surprised that they're not showing the UK specials live, but whatever).
EDIT: I rewrote this whole post, basically

| #10 Posted on 9.6.18 1505.47 Reposted on: 9.6.25 1506.36 | If our entries are any indication this is going to be a wide open tournament. I was bored so I went through and tallied all the final four, finals and winner votes.
Final Four Votes Flash Morgan Webster and Ligero - 8 votes each Jack Gallagher and Zack Gibson - 7 votes each Joe Coffey and Dave Mastiff - 6 votes each Jordan Devlin - 5 votes Joseph Conners - 4 votes Travis Banks and Kenny Williams - 3 votes each James Drake - 2 votes Drew Gulak - 1 votes That means only Amir Jordan, Tyson T-Bone, Tucker and Ashton Smith didn't get any votes to reach the Final Four.
Finals Votes Flash Morgan Webster - 6 votes Joe Coffey and Dave Mastiff - 4 votes each Zack Gibson and Ligero - 3 votes each Jordan Devlin, James Drake, Jack Gallagher and Kenny Williams - 2 votes each Travis Banks - 1 vote Joseph Conners - 1 vote
Winner Votes Flash Morgan Webster - 4 Joe Coffey, Jordan Devlin and Zack Gibson (my pick) - 2 votes each Joseph Conners, James Drake, Ligero, Dave Mastiff and Kenny Williams - 1 vote each
So 9 out of the 16 wrestler got votes to win the whole thing. I've never looked at the other predictions this closely to see if this is common or not but that seems like a lot. Hopefully that means it's going to be a great tournament.
EDIT: Looking back at the New Japan Cup tournament only 5 wrestlers were picked to win it all so maybe this tournament is more wide open. Then again, nobody actually picked the winner of the New Japan Cup correctly so what do any of us know??

I'm in the exact same boat. However, my pick to win also lost in the first round of the New Japan Cup and I managed to finish in a 3-way tie for first. You don't have to be good if everyone else sucks too! |
