I had certainly forgotten (or tried to forget in a lot of cases) most of these "stars."

Although I'd say most of them are forgotten WCW gimmicks vs. stars but whatevs.

Surprised Glacier didn't make the list (or maybe I missed him having another gimmick that did make the list).

Lodi was actually the person training Charlotte before she signed with NXT

I'm not sure how anyone could forget Oz, but maybe that's just my personal bias from seeing the gimmick in person and also having Kevin Nash respond to a tweet I made about it.

I'm pretty sure Scott Putski was a bigger star in the WWF than he was in WCW.

I was surprised that Evan Karagias didn't have at least a cup of coffee in the WWE. I was even more suprised to learn that Evan Karagias actually was involved with the Invasion angle. Apparently he got a concussion early on and was never seen again.

Johnny the Bull had a decent run with the WWE and TNA, but I suppose people might have forgotten he was ever in WCW. But his last name is Hugger so they should have him randomly show up in a Bayley vignette.

Blitzkrieg was just referenced on Lucha Underground a few days ago.

There's a handful of people on this list that are actually applicable but there's a large # of people who are still quite well known in their native Mexico and others who are so obscure that you could have asked someone who they were after their match went to commercial and nobody would have remembered. Rick Fuller, really?

I imagine this list was made by making one of John Cena's Make-A-Wish kids flip through a WCW scrapbook and point to everyone he recognized.

DJ Ran and I traded messages a few years back before the WWE had my old YouTube account blocked. I had uploaded a number of videos making fun of him, and he loved it. He wanted more, because he had no footage from his old career. In fact, if I still had his email address, I'd probably appease him at this point - having everything digitized for my benefit has made this far easier.

Insinuating Super Calo was forgettable is downright disrespectful. His magic hat and sunglasses are a vital part of any C-show experience; one I'll always cherish.

They really missed the boat by not putting a picture of Chris Jericho on Lenny Lane's slide, and seeing if anyone noticed.

Norman The Lunatic is one of my favorite old school gimmicks. They blew it with the teddy bear nonsense, because as a full fledged mad-man that needed to be shackled and tazed after every match is brilliant. Kane had nothing on this guy.

I'll never stop giggling every time I hear "Slick Johnson".

I literally have no memory of Nitro Girl Chameleon.

Doug Dellinger! They don't make security like this guy anymore. I like to think underneath his well fed belly and over-seasoned salt and pepper hair that he was secretly the world's most renowned expert on Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, and the only thing that kept the inmates from truly running the asylum was one stern look from the Green-shirted man of war to keep them in check. This was his yard.

No one forgets Judy Bagwell. We've tried.

Blitzkreig was an old favorite that I've enjoyed less as years have gone on. He was a perfect fit at the time however, because he had more aerial techniques than any other lucha dude in the company. I'm shocked he was never really pushed, to be honest. I mean, he had all the qualifications promoters look for: He was white. I've come to realize the dude was sloppy as hell, and some of his matches are cringe worthy in retrospect, because protecting his opponents seemed to be secondary to flipping around (Super Calo apparently hates the guy). Still, as a 17 year old in 1999, he wowed me in ways Lash LeRoux never would.

So it makes complete sense that he handed off the gimmick to Jack Evans.

I keep getting 2 different stories on Evans. He's either one of the greatest flyers in wrestling, or he makes Teddy Hart look likeable. Anyone know which story is true?

I'm Charlie Owens, good night, and good luck.

I've generally heard good things about Jack and he's seemed like a decent guy the very little time I've talked to him in person.

Given all the vitriol he got over the years, I'm really kind of surprised he took those videos with such good humor. He sounds like a good sport.

I like to think that in an alternate universe, The InVasion would have featured a Judy Bagwell/Stephanie McMahon feud of some sort. But then that universe would have created a Singularity of Suck and ceased to be.

I had forgotten about The Maestro and Kiwi.

... but the real question I have is why is Jerry Flynn walking down the aisle in fancy pants with Lex Luger and Elizebeth. That I don't remember at all.

I'm sad to say I do not remember you Rick Fuller.

This article implies that we all forgot about (Nitro Girl) Chae. For shame.

There were 19 Nitro Girls in total. I'd say at least a dozen of them are definitely forgotten. Stacey Kiebler is probably the most memorable. Kimberly Page & Sharmell Sullivan are at least memorable because of their husbands. Rhonda Sing is generally remembered although for the wrong reasons. And Whisper is at least remembered for being shoot punched in the face by Chris Jericho during his feud with Shawn Michaels.

Still better than the NWO Girls, at least.

I blocked out the names and kinda played sporcle with the group. I felt bad that I missed about half of them. Guys like Bobby Blaze and Rick Fuller were easy misses, but I was mad I couldn't remember names like Calo, Silver King and Lenny Lane.
I do not regret not remembering Swoll.

Swoll was only around for a few weeks in the summer of 1999 as a "No Limit Soldier". He was billed as a "former Denver Bronco" and I thought was bogus, and WCW was just trying to make a connection to the Broncos' 1997-1998 "stable" of the same name (led by Terrell Davis, no less).

As a huge Donkey fan, I couldn't place the guy and tried for years to ID him. Eventually, I found out he was former backup defensive lineman Randy Thronton, who was on the Broncos' roster in 1989-1990. One of those training camp/practice squad guys.

I can also add to the stories about DJ Ran taking it all in stride and having a good sense of humor. Back in the (*choke*) MySpace days, I was also making fun of him...and he contacted me and had a laugh about the whole thing. "Make some noise". He actually showed me some footage of him in ECW in 1995-- who knew?!

One year ago, Steph and Bisch kissed. That was promptly treated as never happening. FOOTAGE! of Vince appointing Paul, Paul booking the ME, the ME itself, and the post-match stuff. 3 minutes. It's my life, my time, my rights, my rhyme.
