Hi! We're now 17 years into this, the annual WWE PPV Prediction Results on the hallowed website the-w.com. We are fewer in numbers but no less in enthusiasm. Fourteen predictors took time out of their busy schedule to log on and express their opinions about who they think will win scripted matches in the world of sports entertainment. Sadly, that's four fewer than we had in 2020.

Because our number of predictors has dwindled over the years, so too has our levels: 1-5 PPVs predicted will land you in Level Two, while Level One is reserved for those who predicted 6-12 PPVs. The prediction season begins Saturday with Elimination Chamber, and will run through Royal Rumble 2023.

Last year's results: https://the-w.com/2020-wwe-ppv-prediction-results

Previous luminaries who have finished number one include: Alex, OMEGA, Big G, Torchslasher, kentish, Big Bad, saturn93, andy1278, Kevintripod (now three times!), and texasranger9.

Level One
1. Kevintripod 63-17, 78.8% (12 PPVs predicted)
2. Spiraling_Shape 59-20, 74.7% (12)
3. geemoney 55-23, 70.5% (12)
4. Tenken347 46-21, 68.7% (10)
5. saturn93 44-21, 67.7% (10)
6. kellogs 37-18, 67.3% (9)
7. ekedolphin 36-19, 65.5% (8)
8. Big G 45-28, 61.6% (11)
9. El Nastio 38-24, 61.3% (10)

Level Two
1. Dionysus 7-2, 77.8% (1)
2. MoeGates 7-4, 63.6% (3)
3. Doc_whiskey 22-18, 55% (5)
4. Toast Jr 11-9, 55% (4)
5. AWArulz 1-1, 50% (1)

This is now the third year in a row Kevintripod has won, which is a record - and by a healthier margin than his previous two victories.

Don't forget, Elimination Chamber is this Sunday, and the prediction thread will be up by the time you read this. So, get guessing!

Thanks as always @geemoney for putting the time and effort into administering this. It remains good fun.

And on a personal note, I didn't come last this year!!!!!
I think this year is the first in a few where I've done slightly better than a coin flip. That's probably more on WWE than me though

Thanks again!

All hail the king, man. You are too good at this!

Me, I'm happy to finish in the middle of the pack for once, instead of at the rock bottom. Previous years have been about on par with what a coin toss could accomplish, so nearly 70% feels like a triumph to me.

Oh, and as always, big thanks to geemoney for doing this. I know what kind of a pain in the ass these projects can be, and much appreciation for going through all of this for nearly two decades!

Woohoo - I'm #2!

Also, thank you for doing this all year, every year. Please don't change it from "PPV" to... Premium Live Event? PLE they're calling PPVs now?
