Hello fellow wrestling fans, and welcome to a time-honored tradition here on the-W: Our WWE PPV Prediction Results.
In 2018, there were 12 PPVs along with a collection of Network specials. After deciding against including those specials in the prediction contest for this year (even as I myself started the Super Show Down prediction thread), they WILL be included in next year's results. I felt all should be included or none should be included, so because I didn't do proper prediction threads for the Saudia Arabia shows, I shouldn't count the Australia show. This is all very pedantic, but I felt it needed clarification as we go forward.
Now, onto the fun stuff: The yearly results run from Elimination Chamber 2018 to Royal Rumble 2019. This is the 14th year I've compiled these results into one tidy thread. For comparison purposes, you can find last year's results here:
The results are broken up into two categories, for those who predicted 6-12 PPVs and those who predicted 1-5.
Previous winners of this contest have included illustrious posters such as Alex, OMEGA, Big G, Torchslasher, kentish, Big Bad, saturn93, andy1278, and Kevintripod.
See an error? PM me and I'll do my best to correct it.
We had 46 folks participate in predictions last year; we dropped to 37 this year. We're down almost half the number of predictors in the last four years.
Most guessed PPVs this year: Wrestlemania with 27 and Summerslam with 25.
Least guessed was Extreme Rules with 16 and Money in the Bank at 17.
Be on the lookout for the Elimination Chamber prediction thread in a few weeks, which signals the start of the new prediction season!

I hadn't kept any sort of tally but assumed that I was doing quite well through the course of the year. How wrong I was! My run of winning, second now turns to 9th. I'm embarrassed, disappointed, feel I've let myself down and annoyed that Vince has beaten me so much this year!
Must do better!
But more importantly, thank you very much for doing it again geemoney - it is appreciated and must be a lot of hassle for you. I'm sure I'm not alone in really enjoying it and hoping that it continues. Thank you Sir!
Are people really lamenting the loss of a guy who's single greatest match was against Shane O Mac? Just wondering where I was for the rest of his "good" matches.
