As usual, I don't know enough to make any predictions. (I think the Wild might move on, but I carry a local bias.) I also hate to see Justin and dunkndollaz at odds in the first round but that should be a fun series to watch.
Montreal over Ottawa Tampa Bay over Detroit New York over Pittsburgh New York over Washington Anaheim over Winnipeg Vancouver over Calgary Minnesota over St. Louis Chicago over Nashville
Tampa Bay over Montreal New York over New York....uh, Islanders over Rangers Anaheim over Vancouver Chicago over Minnesota
Tampa Bay over New York Anaheim over Chicago
Tampa Bay over Anaheim
After over 13 years and 6800 posts, was finally named W of the Day on 3/21/2015. It's now all worth it!
Montreal over Ottawa Tampa Bay over Detroit (Ben Bishop is a bastard) NYR over Pittsburgh NYI over Washington Anaheim over Winnipeg Vancouver over Calgary St. Louis over Minnesota Chicago over Nashville
Montreal over Tampa Bay NYI over NYR Anaheim over Vancouver St. Louis over Chicago
NYI over Montreal St. Louis over Anaheim
NYI over St. Louis
Of course, this season is going to be way more of a topsy-turvy crapshoot than ever. It pains me that I only really feel certain about two series - Montreal/Ottawa, and (UGH) Detroit/Tampa. It's the tried-and-true Wings playoff formula, we'll make it and then die off to this year's hot goalie and/or Wing-killing goalie.
That man is Ben Bishop.
Michigan against the SEC: 20-6-1 (7-4 in bowl games)
Wait, we have to predict the ENTIRE playoffs? That's crazy. I don't know how the seeding works after the first round - do they re-seed? I'll try the first round:

Pittsburgh gets 4 home games in this series?

There is no re-seeding past the first round, everything stays in the division. If, say, the Jets beat the Ducks, they'll play the winner of Vancouver/Calgary.

Nope, no hockey on USA this season until now - it's a new thing this year, I think...which I wholeheartedly welcome!
Feels like there isn't maybe there isn't as much room on NBCSN?
A few years back, NBC contractually obligated themselves to no more of that "joined in progress" crap that usually resulted in me missing good chunks of the west coast games. Overflow games usually ended up on CNBC or NHL Network the past couple years (and they still got some in this schedule, but probably won't have as many in the next rounds).
Maybe NBC Universal finally thinks hockey on USA isn't a huge ratings sacrifice? Maybe it'll make hockey more popular on the teevee? MAYBE? (Probably not.)
They'll still never pre-empt RAW for it, for sure!
EDIT: Wow, this is USA's first NHL action since 1985!
TV ratings for Minnesota Wild games during the 2014-2015 regular season were up 41 percent over last year and set an all-time average household rating in a non-lockout season.
FSN reported a 4.2 average household rating for its 71 broadcasts this season. That's about 72,500 viewers on average.
In the lockout-shortened season of 2012-2013, fans tried to cram in more hockey games and FSN reported a 4.3 average household rating.
Ratings really picked up in February, when the team recovered a seemingly lost season by picking up new goalie Devan Dubnyk. ---------------------------------------------------------
Well, you can count my household as one of the reasons they are up. Up until three years ago, I honestly had maybe watched a half dozen hockey games in their entirety, but thanks to my wife's love of hockey, (she was the first female hockey player in one of Minnesota's hockey hubs, goalie nonetheless!), I took a liking to it. Now, I watch it more than she does.

We'll be back right after order has been restored here in the Omni Center.

Your Preds over the Hawks pick is..... interesting
I have to admit that my Preds over Hawks pick is based more on the fact that my sister & her family live in Chicago and the last time the Hawks won the CUP they got to have their Xmas card picture taken with it so I never want to ever see that again in my life.
and I thought they might rebound from their end of season slump.....
It's a pretty neat article Click Here (wwe.com) to read it... Some quotes from it Its just a national pride thing, Trish Stratus said. Hockey is Canadas game. To bring the Cup home to Canada is where we feel it rightfully belongs.
