Reason #573 why the BCS system doesn't work. Boise State absolutely mops the floor with Hawaii 54-9...and go DOWN three spots to 7th in the rankings. This system really sucks. No way should USC be able to leap frog Boise State when they almost gave their game away at the end.

Of course if it was the reverse, you'd complain USC wiped the floor with Hawaii while Boise beat a tough Oregon State team.
No, the big bullshit here is Cincinnati falling to 8th. Yeah they beat a weakling conference team.. but USC is 3 spots higher and just beat a team at home that Cincy beat on the road.

The people polls both have Boise State at #5, it's the computers that brought them down. Hawaii's SOS is VERY weak and SOS is an important factor with ALL the BCS computers, especially the Colley Matrix where it is the only component in the formula (he has a few degrees in math and makes his formula publicly available for analysis on his home page), the same system I based mine off of a couple years ago.
I wouldn't be surprised if they dropped in my rankings when I get started updating them.

Boise State needs Oregon to keep winning to help it's SOS, otherwise I think my Broncos are screwed this year. Cincy can help itself a lot with wins over Pittsburgh & West Virginia. TCU still has Utah looming on the horizon and everyone in Alabama knows why you don't take the utes lightly.
Just came back from working the retirement ceremony. Ah, tech gremlins...what would I do without you? (Probably cuss a lot less.) Anyway, here's the tribute video the Packers played for DD at today's goings-on: http://www.packers.
