I usually don't start threads like this, but since I haven't seen one yet, I'm a little curious as to whether or not anybody
  • saw it
  • is willing to 'fess up to having seen it
SO?

(I MAY see it. I dunno. If I didn't spring for "The Condemned," do I REALLY need to part with cash for THIS one?)

With the partner's very similar depicted fate, I was wondering if I didn't just watch Speed 3: Nasty In New Orleans.

Editz: My one criteria for this to be a good movie was that I didn't want to see any wrestling moves during fight scene. Almost got off scot-free.

And then Mark Henry's Sexual Chocolate song makes a cameo at the end.

It wasn't terrible.

The plot was decent to follow and his character was kinda likeable. I couldn't help but laugh when the had him in the firemans outfit because I'm expecting him to come out on RAW any time now dressed as a fireman since the military thing hasn't worked for him. In his first movie, they made him a marine and now they've turned him into a police officer and a fireman. Will we be seeing John Cena as a doctor next?

Cena has only one facial expression through the whole film. Also, his voice is terrible for these kinds of film roles. He has very little base in it and for a guy who can supposedly do ANYTHING, you would expect him to have a deeper voice. Yeah, this sounds like me just hating on John Cena yet again, but at least I DID spend money to go see this. (and it was not a cheap matinee, I paid the $15 after 6pm prices...) I may not be his biggest fan, but I'm willing to give him a chance. He just failed to do it for me.

I think the problem is that they want to make him an action movie guy and it isn't working in the least. Put him in a comedy. Make him a teacher or have him working behind a desk. Something that you can hide his freakish body and make him use his other talents, such as his mouth. Definitely not a drama because he doesn't have the acting skills for it, but he's good at making people laugh so put THAT to good use.

Oh, I really liked the guy playing the bad guy. he was interesting and you could just feel he was walking all over Cena, acting wise. I want to see more of him.
