Yeah, I read about that. The Maloofs acknowledged that they understood why the commercial may have turned people off to what they were trying to do, but in their own defense, they also said that they taped the ad several months before the election and they didnt know it would air at the exact time they would be asking for tax dollars for a new arena.

I know, I know - they're Hardee's in Minnesota, too. Surely I've mentioned my Thickburger experiences!
(Tho' strangely, they haven't run the Maloof ad up here. Actually, come to think of it I haven't seen ANY Hardee's ads lately, so maybe it's that instead.)
