Finally, it's come out. Charles Xavier's dream was coexistence. One of mine is the best female cast in comics getting their own book free of qualifiers in the title. Just X-Men. And it was worth the wait.

I didn't like X-Men quite as much as you. I'm no real fan of John Sublime as a character, and there's a lot that's left unexplained about Jubilee, who is evidently no longer a vampire. I mean, it was still a decent read, and I'll stick with it, but definitely not my favorite book of the week. That honor goes to Daredevil 26 (which I am well aware actually came out last week, but I didn't get it until yesterday), in which Daredevil finally learns who's been targeting him, and comes after him in full force. If you've avoided the spoilers it's a good reveal, and even if you saw the spoilers, the presentation is very well executed, and there's a fight at the end of the book that I just absolutely loved. Next month appears to be the big rematch with Ikari, and I'm really looking forward to that.
The X-men issue, especially the Copiel artwork, reminded me a lot of the Claremont/Silvestri Scotland story where Dazzler, Psylocke, Longshot, and Rogue fight Juggernaut. I liked that.

I agree with you on the graying thing; should've kept it. The yellow weakness I don't mind as much, because it gives the writers more to play with (every hero that powerful needs some kind of weakness).
