There is a great gulf fixed between your team and my team. I don't know if it can ever be crossed and sometimes, I don't know if I want to cross it.

Your team Has a new, city financed stadium with luxury boxes and bistros.

my team Has an old bandbox in the middle of a neighborhood with ivy on the walls

your team consistantly buys and resigns free agents who help them.

my team Rarely gets free agents of great worth and loses expensive free agents. But loyal players play for years there.

Your team wins, and wins in the post season.

my team mostly loses, and occasionally makes me think we're going to win, only to dash out my hopes

Your team Might not be your team next year

my team will be mine, no matter what.

your team is a lucky bunch of guys

my team might not be too lucky, but for better or worse, dammit, I have to follow 'em

We'll be back as soon as order is restored.....
