The Rock (in his wrestling gear) went to teh ring and started to call out Undertaker when Booker T. showed up on stage. Booker said after he beat Triple H last week he was going to do the same to Rock. They ended up fighting. A ref ran down and the match took place. Booker did the spinaroonie, but Rock nipped up and then delivered the spinebuster and People's Elbow for the win.
So Booker's effectively jobbed to both HHH (yes, I know Angle interfered, but he was about to lose) and Rock in a four-WWF-day span. Whee.
A video played promoting that the nWo would be at No Way Out. Several nWo packages aired throughout the show.
Y'know, this would've been a lot better if they HADN'T said they'd be at NWO. I know it's just to jack up the buyrate, but I liked the whole "when will they appear?" motif.
An interview from earlier in the day aired with Triple H and Stephanie talking to an Australian doctor. He said the pregnancy was going well and she was eight weeks along.
So she's been pregnant for two months and hasn't told Triple H? When was she going to tell him, when he wondered why she was getting a little thick around the middle?
And is this the same doctor that Scott Steiner used?
Kurt Angle came to the ring pushing a baby carriage. He said he thought Stephanie would be a good mother, but that Triple H was not even a man, but more of an ape which led to Angle pulling out a stuffed ape toy from the carriage and calling it Game Jr. Eventually Triple H came out and attacked Angle.
This actually sounds cute.
They played the Scorpion King movie trailer which received a huge pop since I guess it is the People's Movie.
They showed a wedding invitation to invite everyone to watch the Triple H/Stephanie vow renewal on Monday.
William Regal & Dudley Boyz beat Edge, Rob Van Dam, & Rikishi in a pretty hot six man. Rikishi gave Bubba the stink face, but ended up getting the 3D after. Regal nailed Edge with the knux after on the ramp.
Well, with the random pairings lately, you knew a six-man would happen sometime..
Chris Jericho came out and said he doesn't want to wait til No Way Out and called Austin out to have the match. A Stone Cold impersonator (Will Sasso from Mad TV) came out and did a pretty good Austin and basically sucked up to Jericho and got down on his knees and kissed Jericho's boots. The real Austin ran down and nailed Jericho and then did a long segment with Sasso
which ended up with the usual What? chants and beer plus a stunner for Sasso.
Sounds like timefiller but at least it had some sort of purpose. Reminds me of the Greenberg skit.
Paulina from the original Tough Enough was shown in the crowd.
Is her knee healed yet? Will you care?
Motorhead was also in the front row as Triple H later went over to them several times.
Jericho was in back and Ric Flair told him he was facing Triple H in a non-title match later.
If I were Jericho, I'd just leave.
Maven won the Hardcore Title beating the Undertaker. Taker dominated Maven and also beat down Al Snow who came out with Maven. Taker chokeslammed Maven, but Rock ran down and clocked Taker with a chair and gave him a Rock Bottom and Maven got the pin.
*slomo, a la Homer*
I hate the WWF.
Jerry Lawler went to the ring for the posedown with Chuck & Billy vs. Stacy & Torrie. Each team was given three poses to do and the fans would decided the winners. Chuck and Billy had some gay looking shorts on and then proceeded to act really gay doing their poses. Torrie and Stacy did their poses to a
big pop (at least from the men that is) and they won. After Stacy attacked Torrie and of course Lawler got in between the fight certainly to his liking.
Goldust vs. Godfather was ready to go, but Van Dam ran in and attacked Goldust who then bailed from the scene.
Way to get that feud over - RVD ALREADY had to get his shots back in?
Vince McMahon was on the phone when Triple H came in. He told Vince how he didn't like him and so on, but said Stephanie wanted Vince to walk her down the aisle on Monday. Triple H said Vince would never get near his kid. Vince then makes the Triple H vs. Jericho match a handicap match with Angle teaming with Y2J.
And the odds of it NOT being HHH's kid are how much again?
Coach talked to Rock as he was leaving the building, but Undertaker attacked Rock and chokeslammed him on the hood of a car and gave him the Tombstone on the car's roof.
Kurt Angle and Chris Jericho beat Triple H in a handicap match. Crowd was really dead for this match for the most part. Match ended with a chair in the ring and Angle hit the Angle Slam on Triple H twice on the chair and he pinned him. Stephanie then came out and Triple H used the chair on Jericho and Angle. Triple H hugged Stephanie. Angle came back and nailed Triple H
who landed on Stephanie. Angle left, but Triple H called him back out and he gave Angle the Pedigree and then did some posing for the crowd.
Wow, only takes two guys, including the World champion, to beat The Game. He MUST be That Damn Good. :/
Sounds almost like an interesting show, but not quite. Whaddya think, sirs?
So it looked like they were going with a real pregnancy because of the doctor. That would've been good, since I REALLY didn't want the "Stephanie's faking it" angle (although that still could be the case if she bought off the doctor I guess).
But it's obvious that she's not pregnant in real life since she wouldn't have taken a bump if she was. Even a very very safe one. So that means either they will go with a faking angle or she's going to have a miscarriage at some point. Neither option is good.
>So she's been pregnant for two months and hasn't told >Triple H? When was she going to tell him, when he >wondered why she was getting a little thick around the >middle?
Well, let's put it this way: one missed period can be a sign of many things (pregnancy, stress, diet issues, etc.) The second missed period is a bit more of a giveaway, and at that point she's probably six weeks along. It's not that outrageous to think she'd spend a week or two debating how to best inform her hubby, especially since they'd been arguing quite a bit during that period.
>Way to get that feud over - RVD ALREADY had to get his >shots back in?
Well, he DID get his nuts punted halfway to Ohio. That's one of life's events that does call for payback time.
>And the odds of it NOT being HHH's kid are how much again?
1 to 1, by my reckoning.
Sounds like a fair amount of FUHFUHWID in this week's installment, and a good opportunity for me to catch up with my Thursday-night pinball club...
HELLO KITTY gang terrorizes city, family STICKERED to death!
If Maven has the HC belt, I'd like to see him run with it and win fluke after fluke ala Mikey Whipwreck and Crash Holly. That'd be entertaining as hell.
CAN SOMEONE TELL ME..if the ASPCA knows about these Government Mules that JR refers to. Apparently, these poor animals are subjected to awful beatings that are akin to being thrown into steel steps or having their heads smashed against wooden announce tables.br> Michaelangelo
I saw the spoilers over at Lords of Pain and there seemed to be some differing opinions. One guy did the long spoiler list and said that Test and the NWO videos flopped, but Rock was huge over. Plus, HHH was not getting the high fan response as Austin and Rock. I don't know how this happened, but another person who was there disagreed on the fan response. Saying Test, NWO and HHH were huge over. I would like to know one thing, how does someone get a copy of a summary of the spoilers before they are even posted on the web page?
Sounds to me, the second guy is either one of the webmasters who wen to the show or another one of those wonderful smark fans who can't stand to see the WWF fail at things they like to see and praise the one athlete who is over with the fans. I chose number 2.
A Fan- When Rock leaves, you'll be missing him more than you ever miss Benoit or HHH.

If RVD's nuts got punted ALL THE WAY to Ohio, Rick Scaia would search them out, find them and retire from the web forever.

The WWF is now actually able to mute crowd chants in separate sections of the arena during tapings.

I guess the Orton match had to go on earlier, given the finish they were doing. Card positioning still makes it look like "The HHH Show featuring WWE Champion Randy Orton", much like it was during Benoit's reign.
