Man, what a lame debut for the (ugh) Mexicools. If Juvi is the spokesman for the group, we're in trouble. So their gimmick is that they're a bunch of unappreciated menial workers? How will that work if all three of them are recognized pro wrestlers from other promotions? If it weren't for the fact that they're all superb workers, the shark would already be jumping.

You know those guys I busted? You think they were the bad guys? Because they weren't, they weren't bad guys, they were just like you and me. Except they compromised... Once." -- Jack Bauer

I got the impression that they were trying to show how offensive white people are by thinking that they *are* nothing but under-appreciated menial workers. The 'salute' to the mexican limo and stuff like that had a definate sarcasm and "fuck, we'll show you how useless we are" to it. I could have read what they were saying wrong though, but I figured the lawn mower was a one-shot deal to introduce the gimmick, or at least that they were no longer going to be seen as just lawn mower riders.
ps. I in no way find your post 'offensive', it just kinda came out that way and I'm too tired to think of a better way to explain what I mean.

If you look closely, it's actually a surprisingly cerebral gimmick. They're subverting ethnic stereotypes! I thought it was pretty clear that's what was going on.
On another note: Has anyone else noticed that MNM are totally over?
Is it that, or is it Melina's ring entrance that's over?
I liked this team the first time I saw them with the full entrance and match. I love the minks, the photographers, the matching outfits, the swagger and the way they wear the belts. They've got a great gimmick going.

Here's something to think over. Now, tonight will be the last weekly PPV before they move to the monthly ones in November. Which just leaves them with Impact (their version of Raw or SD) and X-Plosion (their Velocity/Heat).
