I hate to bring it the Benoit fans, but he has been gone for 3/4 of the year and it gets the 2 spot?! While Rock being there longer doesn't get anything and I'd argue Rock has had better matches than Benoit and carried more people to them.
I dislike the list, because of the one question I always ask myself, Who The Fuck Are These Guys??
I understand the Japan element involved, but most of these guys are indy hacks who can do three high spots, take a bump and call it night. I'll take this list seriously when the DVDVR guys come to the very real conclusion that WWE maybe the all encompassing evil of wrestling, but this year alone has had the greatest locker room of all time.

| #43 Posted on 15.11.02 1146.02 | A Fan - Huh? 4 of the top 10 are WWE guys. As for Benoit and Rocky, the list is based on the last six months of work from currently active wrestlers. Rock's shooting a movie so he's not eligible, although Dean says he would have been aroun #70 on the list, and Benoit's definitely done a big pile of really good stuff since he's come back.
As for the "most of these guys are indy hacks" comment, all I can do is ask how many of these guys you've actually seen. Agree or disagree with their opinions, at least they've watched stuff by all the guys on the list (and a couple hundred other guys) from the last half year. | DEAN RASMUSSEN
