I guess I should be happy, in a way, that I haven't missed me being the WOTD on the rare occasion I have been out of town or something. Then again, look at all these slaps who have earned such an honor before ME! What about Villano VII? What about me?

Just want to make sure I am not losing it.

it used to be on all pages, but i think CRZ removed it, refering to the post above...
about 7 hours ago when i was last JACKED IN, it was on most pages...

Yeah, we don't need it on EVERY page, so I kept it on the main page and pulled it from the forum/thread pages. That box was getting mighty BUSY - too busy for my likin'.
He put the "order by" area back in and added the UserId in the table.
He didn't, however, do the thing that I was going to ask him to, which was to put the rownumber of each in the array in so that you could see what WOTD # you were...
I didn't comment out the array sort though, so he'd probably have to open the memberlist.php to find code to steal.
Oh . The lazy thing comes from the fact that I just hacked together the memberlist and changed the query to go against the wotd table instead of re-writing it from scratch.
What can I say? I only had 10 minutes free to do it in.

Isn't the date enough? We never looked at the numbers before, why would we do it now?

I'm thinking moving some stuff around (Logout should be next to "you are logged in as...", and shouldn't show up if you're not logged in, "Login" and "Register" shouldn't show up when logged in, and when you're logged out, they should be in the spot normally reserved for "you are logged in as...")
If Zim and/or Zim are/is cool with this, I'll shuffle some stuff around until it looks a bit less busy, and a bit more intuitive (in my mind, anyway).

No problem... I usually change the other first, then diff a patch, then move it to Wienerville... Whenever I make changes, I try to keep them in sync (of course, most of my changes are "behind the curtain" sorts of things, and therefor tend to translate between boards with little or no effort).

// edit: and after temporarily breaking the board and then fixing it again (of course, I doubt anyone noticed other than Zim, since it wasn't THAT broken), I've proven to myself that sleep can, in fact, be a good thing. I'll fix up the header stuff tomorrow and make it prettier.

Alright... The Login stuff is all shuffled around, and the top is (a bit) less cluttered than before.
I'm going to start going through the code and replacing all the silly <META HTTP-EQUIV="REFRESH" ...> crap with proper header() invocations (I've already done this with the login page), and that should speed things up a little bit (no more trying to read that page that blinks by after you submit a thread or post, because your browser won't be fed any HTML content anymore... Yay!).
