Coming across grist for today's CAGCOTD, I found the following paragraph. This MEANS... SOMETHING.
[Brooke] Adams, 25, and [Georgy] Russell, 27, were among three under-30 candidates who met Monday for a debate at University of California, Berkeley. The event, sponsored by Party Y, a national organization that tries to encourage more young people to run for elected office, and the campus-based Mobilizing America's Youth, drew about 25 people.
...and they all were there to hit on them, probably. ;-)
'course, this COULD all be blamed on lack of Party Y (party-y.org) being able to get the word out, too. (Not that I would have hopped on BART and attended if I'd heard about it 24 hours earlier....or would I? No, probably not. Us graveyard guys need SLEEP)
All I can envision is the debate going on and George Newman in the back of the room with his mound of mashed potatoes...
You know, me and Grimis may disagree on, well, everything - but the fact that he too thought of "UHF" before "Close Encounters" shows that maybe this crazy little world isn't as complex as it seems.
Or maybe he just has good taste in movies to balance out his bad taste in politics. :)
"The most important thing is for us to find Osama Bin Laden. It is our number one priority and we will not rest until he find him." -George W. Bush, September 13, 2001
"I don't know where he is. I have no idea and I really don't care. It's not that important. It's not our priority." George W. Bush, March 13, 2002
You just know that someone would have thrown a chair and hit poor George in the nose again. And that would have delayed the "Lesbian Nazi Hookers Who Are Abducted By Aliens" episode.
