If Harm is an actual DC villain, I've never heard of him. He seemed more like an anime villain character. Big ups for the reference to Abel's House of Secrets, though, and how it ties to the main story of someone who killed their sibling.

While I didn't enjoy the characters of Harm or Secret, or the mystery surrounding them, there was still a lot of fun to be had. The girl's night out of Zatanna and Artemis was a great pairing.

Halloween at the high school was amazing, with everyone but Young Justice dressed as Justice Leaguers, as were the cameos of Mal Duncan (dressed as 1990s Superboy), Bumblebee, Wendy (as Black Canary), and Marvin. Plus Megan shapeshifting into Marvin the Martian to scare Marvin - pretty fucking brilliant.

On the other hand, the strategic powwow between Aqualad, Robin, Batman, and Red Tornado as to who the mole is didn't solve that question, but did shed light on who knows Artemis isn't really Green Arrow's niece and Megan not being J'onn J'onzz's niece.

Poor Captain Marvel didn't get to hang with Young Justice for Halloween. Maybe next year.

I liked the Harm story mainly for how dark it went, but he was pretty fucking annoying towards the end. I enjoyed the school as well and Wally as Teen Wolf was awesome. The mole storyline is either going to be this amazing what the hell or just Artemis. I also loved the Marvin the Martian gag.

The Wee Baby Sheamus.

In the comic book of the same name (which I've clearly never read, shhh), Secret was a team member and thus had a discernible personality and ability to speak more than one word. I had to wikipedia to remember Harm, but a few years in, they did a similar story to explain where/what Secret was.

Mal Duncan (dressed as 1990s Superboy)

complete with required bit of Superboy deriding the costume

That was great.

Megan not being J'onn J'onzz's niece.

Maybe I'm forgetting this, but outside the white martian comment last episode, but it felt like the first time they'd gone into her backstory here. The Mars of this show seems a lot more populated than previous versions, and J'onn can apparently travel back and forth, but he chooses to stay on Earth? Hmm.

I think the best part of this episode was the fact that Robin knows exactly who Artemis is, and was surprised that no one else did. Robin is a detective who was mentored by the world's greatest detective, and it's nice to get reminders of what he brings to the team every now and then.

If there's one thing among many that this show has done really well, it's work magic with obscure characters. (See also: Artemis and Sportsmater) I had to do a Wikipedia lookup for this guy and while I clearly never read his stories, I loved what this episode did for him and Secret.

And of course, this is the other thing this show does extremely well. The characterization is just spot on.

I didn't even know they had Family Guy action figures... I guess I'll have to pick some up. Anyone care to donate to the Nuke Winter Needs Money For Figures Fund (NWNMFFF)?
